Speakers

Sam Martin, MBA, CFP®, CPA

“It doesn’t have to be complicated. Let us guide you through structuring and simplifying your financial life.”

Sam Martin is Director of Wealth Management Services and Advanced Tax Planning and a principal of the Dental Group, LLC / Martin Boyle PLLC / Dental Wealth Advisors LLC and DG Transitions LLC

Sam is a business/accounting graduate of the University of Montana and holds a Masters in Federal Income Taxation from Golden Gate University.

Sam is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®).

Dental Wealth Advisors, LLC is a Registered Investment Advisory focusing on the comprehensive financial needs of dentists and specialists during their practice careers, into and through retirement. DWA takes a holistic approach to personal finance – focused on facilitating client goals and addressing client concerns. We take great pride in turning overwhelm into process and helping our clients make great decisions about finances.
Dental Group, LLC is an active member of the Academy of Dental CPA’s (ADCPA) a national association of 25 top CPA firms specializing in tax, financial and practice management services to dentists. The Dental Group, LLC, provides proactive, hands-on services to assist dentists to effectively manage their practices, plan for and reduce taxes, establish longterm financial goals and develop, implement and monitor plans to realize those goals. The firm has a subspecialty niche working with practice buyers and associateship / partnerships – providing comprehensive evaluation and transition consulting as well as business planning, financing and related consulting.

Dental Group works with clients to increase practice profitability in a customer service-based environment. The firm has a
strong bias toward wealth accumulation through the process of financial planning and implementation: “It is not about gross, or even ultimately about net. Rather, it is about wealth accumulation and achieving long-term goals.” Getting clear about your long-term goals and financial concerns, building a written financial and investment plan and establishing an ongoing process for monitoring and updating your plan provides a tremendous increase in quality of life and allows you to spend your time focusing on the people and activities most important to you.

Sam has been providing tax and financial planning services to dentists and specialists since 1981. A Kirkland native, Sam, his wife Lori, son and daughter live in North Bend and enjoy hiking, fly fishing, landscaping and a myriad of family and academic activities.

John Marshall
John Marshall is a thought leader on small business. In consulting, speaking and mentoring businesses in over 30 industries, he uncovered a powerful concept. Too many professionals are overwhelmed because they don’t know their number. Their number is how healthy, unhealthy or underperforming their business is on a scale out of 100. That’s why he created the business scorecard: What’s Your Number? Once they discover their number, the Results Driven framework helps them to achieve greater growth, profits and sustainable success. You could say, their training is, in every sense of the word, Results Driven. Do you ever wonder what successful practices do differently than you? Why do they seem to be more profitable? Why do they have better relationships with their customers? They even seem to be dramatically less overwhelmed and stressed. In this educational and interactive presentation, you’re going to learn what the highly effective ‘best practices’ do every day; every week; every year. You’ll learn the template they use and follow. You’ll discover what they focus on. You’ll learn how they only work with clients that appreciate them. And you’ll discover why they’re very profitable.
